How do you pronounce the french words ';La Mer';? Can you spell it phonetically in english?

The is half of a name of a bottle of mens cologne that I'm trying to find. In addition, would you happen to know the full name of that cologne, by chance?How do you pronounce the french words ';La Mer';? Can you spell it phonetically in english?
La mer : the sea

pronounced exactly like 鈥檒a m猫re鈥? the mother

compare: 鈥檛here鈥?or the 鈥檓ayor鈥?

but of course the 鈥檙鈥?is totally different

you pronounce it gutturally, almost at the back of your larynx,

as far as I know there is no such sound in English, sorry!

However if it is an 鈥檈au de Cologne鈥?you are looking for, I think there is one called 鈥橢au de Mer鈥? and as far as I know it is for men.

Good luck!How do you pronounce the french words ';La Mer';? Can you spell it phonetically in english?
la is like do re mi fa so LA ti do and the Mer is said like Air but with a M --%26gt; Mair. And I do believe the cologne is called ';La Mer Perfume and Cologne'; by La Mer
Corona del Mer . This is a hybrid name, the first two words being Spanish and the last French. Mer is pronounced much as one would pronounce ';mare';.
La = the Mer = sea

the 'a' in La is pronounced like 'a' in father %26amp; bar.

Mer is pronounced like the english word 'mare' (a female horse) but has a slight velar/glottal rhotic rather than a 'normal r sound. This is an 'r' sound produced at the back of the throat as opposed to the front of the mouth.
lah mair. it means ';the sea.';
La mare
