Creme De La Mer Vs SKII whitening lotions?

I'm looking for a good whitening serum/ lotion to even out my skin tone/ freckles. I have used Creme De La Mer's cream before and found it amazing but never tried their whitening range; and I know SKII has a whitening range also supposed to be great - I was wondering if anyone has tried either/both of these and could give me a review? Much appreciated, thanks! xCreme De La Mer Vs SKII whitening lotions?
hi..funny you should ask this as just last night i was asking this same question to a nurse friend (who works with a plastic surgeon and does face rejuvenation) about this. i asked her if proactive skin lightening lotion was good (it has 2% hydroquinone which is the lightening ingredient in these ceams/lotions). she said it was ok, and also that they sold formulas with higher potentcies over the counter at places like walgreens...4% hydroquinone. also, a doctor can prescribe creams with higher concentrations of it. remember, as soon as you start using one of these lightening products, that it is essential that you were at least 30spf sunscreen if you are going to be out side for ANY length of time. these products make your skin way more susceptible, and if you do not protect it, then you will make the dark spots even worse. i have not tried the the De La Mer however. just thought you might want to know what i was told from a very good source. Also, my best friend uses a skin lighter by Obagi that she got from her dermatologist and i swear its working really well. hope this helps.Creme De La Mer Vs SKII whitening lotions?
If you wana lighten your skin tone nd keep away from freckles, the best way is to eat more fruits nd fibre drink more milk nd peel of a cucumber nd then mesage the cucumber around your face you can even grate the cucumber.

If you use creams than it may leave side effects because myabe your alergic to the ingredients or it doesnt suit your skin but the best is to avoid the sun and be the fruity geek.

nd yes i have tried the cream ur talking about but i dont think there was enough whitness there should be. It only covered an area of my scar which was on my cheeks.

but up to you i wont suggest anything without experience as i was in a problem ages ago but am naturally fine now.
a good skin lightening product should NOT contain hydroquinone because this ingredient has been banned in europe and asia already due to its carcinogenic properties (can cause skin cancer).. other harmful lightening agnets to watch for are mercury and steroids.. i've tried a lot of skin whitening products and here's one with my best vote -

Who else thinks the song ';La Mer'; is a million times better than ';Beyond the Sea';?

It's from the TV show Lost, the movie Finding Nemo, among others. It was written by Charles Trenet and covered later by ... some American.Who else thinks the song ';La Mer'; is a million times better than ';Beyond the Sea';?
La Mer is definitely better. I like that it's not as upbeat in tempo and there's more musicality within it. The French lyrics are so much better

Would you suggest me La Mer moustirising lotion or oil absorbing lotion?

My skin is extremely sensitive, I had problem of spots and I have used Avene extreme tolerance cleanser and cream, it helped a lot. Now I have started using Clar谋ns and the cleansers are great. I am using combination -oily milk cleanser and the gentle foaming cleanser all skin types.

My skin went a bit dry and tight, apart from the T zone, I thought I had oily skin but apparently I need a moustirizer. What would you suggest to me?= Please help.I heard La Mer is good or Carita.

I have checked the Clarins website and there is a aromatique day cream which looks suitable to me and I checked the shop, they only have for oily skin or matifient which I think won't do me good. Help me please.Merci...Would you suggest me La Mer moustirising lotion or oil absorbing lotion?

Oil soaks in faster giving you better, softer skin, and it's the best moisturizer, too. Just be careful on your face. Oils have the tendancy to clog sensitive pores, so you should use a gel, oil control moisturizer, like Clinique.

Has anyone used La Mer The Eye Concentrate?

Does it really fade away dark circles? if yes, how long does it take? and does it last??

thank u!!!! :DHas anyone used La Mer The Eye Concentrate?
La Mer is way too expensive in my budget, but if you have the money, go for it. There are actually much better remedies than La Mer such as cumbers, clinique eye repair serum, hemroid cream, etc..and cheap.Has anyone used La Mer The Eye Concentrate?
that's a way too expensive dark circle solution..

you might as well try a simple vitamin k cream or use potato slices on your eyes to lighten the dark circles.
not me
idk. i had the normal cream and it was good.

  • Which is the best brand, Philosophy, Origins or La Mer?

Philosophy personally.Which is the best brand, Philosophy, Origins or La Mer?
Philosophy is the best brand. Their products are so great and innovative. I have mild acne and the only thing that has help is using products from philosophy. Not only is their skincare great but they have the best bath and body products.
